This is a town which located in the Costa Rica and is been highly popular for different types of fishing. The fishing is one of the most sought after activities performed by many people in Quepos. In fact, these days many people from different countries visit Quepos to enjoy fishing. Fishing is not new in Quepos, but over the last few years Quepos has gained a huge popularity among the travelers and become a major fishing destination in the Costa Rica. The reason being, Quepos is situated in the west coast shoreline which always has moderate currents that makes fishing quite easier and fun.

There are various private fishing companies and fishing charters that provide wide range of fishing equipment and accessories to the fishermen.  Queposfishing is done all through the years, but perhaps the best time would be from March to June and from October to January. At this time of the year, the weather remain dry and pleasant and water currents also remain moderate creating ideal conditions for fishing.
